Select from any Nvidia Geforce 7000 Series to compare 2021 gaming system requirements performance. GeForce 7000M/nForce 610M. Mar 07, 2015 Nvidia Geforce 7150m / 630 drivers x64 needed pls in Graphic Cards anyone have a good driver for this slightly older vista-era laptop? The machine is a HP DV9917CL. I have it running with the old HP vista 64 driver. It works pretty good but I get some flashes and blackouts on certain aero functions.

I have recently installed an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630-2GD3 (I know that this isn't a brilliant graphics card but compared to my old 9600 GSO it's amazing!) and it came with ASUS GPU Tweak which allows you to overclock the GPU.

I'm getting a new laptop- here are the specs.
Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-55 1.8G (Dual Core)
3GB DDR2
NVIDIA GeForce 7000M
Now, I KNOW the nvidia card is NOT a top of the line card. I do know, however, that it CAN run heavier games (even crysis, on low-med settings). So I don't need anybody telling me my card sucks, because I know it does.
The nvidia geforce 7000M has something called 'turbocache,' but I have no experience using such a feature. I'll be turning down the settings on Vista to 'performance' instead of 'quality' so it runs smoother. 3GB of ram seems like plenty to have, but how does this turbocache come into play, and how can I use it to help heavier games like bioshock, crysis, and mass effect run more smoothly? On a related note, would getting an extra gig of ram be advisable?
